The research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students in science (IPA) at SDN 01 Sawahan. This condition was caused by students’ lack of focus, limited active participation during the learning process, and difficulties in understanding the material presented by the teacher. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model assisted by smart board media on the science learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 01 Sawahan. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population consisted of all third-grade students at SDN 01 Sawahan, comprising 28 students in class III.A and 29 students in class III.B, for a total sample of 57 students. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The research instrument was a 20-item multiple-choice test. The research data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that the average learning outcome of the experimental class was 83.93, while that of the control class was 77.59. The hypothesis test resulted in tcount = 2.439 and ttable = 1.673 with 55 degrees of freedom (df). Since tcount = 2.439 > ttable = 1.673, H₁ was accepted and H₀ was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model assisted by smart board media has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 01 Sawahan.
