Abstract

This study aims to describe the physical fitness test profiles of Muaythai athletes in Kediri Regency as they prepare for the 9th East Java Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) in 2025. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using total sampling on nine athletes from the Regency Training Center (Puslatkab), consisting of five male and four female athletes. The novelty of this study lies in the mapping of six test parameters that represent all major biomotor components of Muaythai at the regency level, accompanied by comprehensive descriptive statistics as a diagnostic basis. The instruments used included the Sit and Reach, 60-second Push-Up, 60-second Sit-Up, 20-meter Sprint, Triple Jump, and Illinois Agility Test. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics based on percentages according to the norms established by the Kediri Regency KONI Parameter Team. The results showed that the components of flexibility, lower-body explosive power, upper-body muscular endurance, abdominal strength and endurance, and speed fell into the “good” to “very good” categories, while agility was identified as a component that still needs improvement, particularly among female athletes. It was concluded that the athletes possess relatively strong physical conditioning in most of the measured components, while agility needs to be a priority for development through targeted footwork training as part of their preparation for the PORPROV
