<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This study aimed to improve the process and outcomes of reading comprehension skills through the group reading method among Grade IVA students at SDK St. Yoseph Noelbaki. The research was motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of students, particularly in identifying main ideas, understanding important information, and drawing conclusions from texts. The study employed Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles involving 25 students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests, and were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed an improvement in students' reading comprehension. In the initial condition, 10 of 25 students (40%) achieved the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) of 75, with a class average of 65.00. In Cycle I, 12 students (48%) achieved mastery, with a reported class average of 59.40. After improvements were made in Cycle II, 24 students (96%) achieved mastery, with a reported class average of 80.52. Observation results also showed improved student participation, collaboration, discussion, and presentation. These findings indicate that the group reading method can improve the learning process and reading comprehension skills of Grade IVA students.]]>
