Quarter-life crisis is a common problem experienced by students, especially related to careers, such as anxiety, doubt, fear, isolation, and loss of motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive group counseling on students' quarter-life crisis. The method used is a quantitative experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 10 students from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar State Islamic University, selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a Likert-style quarter-life crisis scale with 34 validated items. The results indicate a significant effect of cognitive group counseling in reducing quarter-life crisis, as shown by the paired samples test (T = 13.347 > T-table 2.262), so the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The N-Gain results showed a 61% decrease in scores from pretest to posttest. This study's implications can help students develop rational thinking skills, manage emotions, and increase their readiness to face the challenges of early adulthood.
