This study aims to describe and understand the role of Work-Life Balance in supporting employee performance at Dr. Hj. Vien Dinna Viesesah Clinic. This research employed a qualitative approach to explore employees’ experiences, perceptions, and views regarding the balance between work and personal life and its relation to employee performance. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the clinic management and employees as research informants. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the implementation of Work-Life Balance at Dr. Hj. Vien Dinna Viesesah Clinic has been relatively good, supported by work schedule arrangements, leave entitlements, permission for family-related matters, and effective communication between management and employees. The aspects of time balance, involvement balance, and satisfaction balance indicate that employees are generally able to balance work demands with their personal lives. However, increased patient numbers and workload remain challenges under certain conditions. Employee performance is considered good, as reflected in service quality, work discipline, responsibility, work effectiveness, and cooperation among employees. The study implies that maintaining and improving Work-Life Balance can support employee performance, work enthusiasm, concentration, responsibility, and the quality of services provided to patients.
