Financial literacy is an important factor in supporting the independence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in managing financial resources effectively and sustainably. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the financial literacy understanding of MSME actors in Baubau City, particularly in Wangkanapi Village, to improve their ability to plan, record, manage, and make financial decisions for their businesses. The activity was implemented using an educational-participatory approach through material delivery, interactive discussions, business experience sharing, and strengthening participants’ understanding of financial management practices. The results showed that financial literacy education improved participants’ awareness of the importance of separating personal and business finances, financial planning, and cash flow management to support business sustainability. Strengthening financial literacy serves as an important strategy to enhance the capacity and independence of MSME actors toward more organized, adaptive, and sustainable business management.
