This study aims to analyze the effect of sales growth, leverage measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and price-earnings ratio on stock returns in chemical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019–2024 period. This type of research is quantitative with secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial reports. The research sample consisted of 5 chemical subsector companies selected using a purposive sampling method, with a total of 30 observations over six years. Data analysis used panel data regression using E-Views 12 software, through the stages of the Chow test, Lagrange Multiplier test, classical assumption test, partial hypothesis test (t-test), simultaneous test (f-test) and coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the partial study indicate that sales growth and price-earnings ratio do not significantly affect stock returns, while leverage measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. The results of the study simultaneously show that sales growth, leverage measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and price earnings ratio do not affect stock returns.
