The male reproductive system is an important part of reproductive and sexual function but is also susceptible to various health disorders. The diagnosis of male reproductive system disorders can be challenging because several diseases have similar symptoms, such as genital pain, swelling, difficulty urinating, and abnormal discharge. The problem faced at RSU Bidadari is that symptom analysis still relies on medical interviews and physical examinations and is not yet supported by a computerized system capable of processing data in a structured manner. This study aims to develop an expert system to assist in diagnosing male reproductive system disorders based on patients' symptoms using the Dempster-Shafer method. This method is used to handle uncertainty by processing the belief and plausibility values of various selected symptoms and combining the evidence to determine the level of confidence in possible diseases. Based on the test results, the diagnostic process using the Dempster-Shafer method produced Epididymitis as the diagnosis with the highest confidence value of 0.7614 or 76.14%. This result indicates that the system is capable of providing a confidence level for the diagnosis based on the symptoms entered. Therefore, the developed expert system can assist in the initial diagnosis of male reproductive system disorders in a more structured and measurable manner and support medical professionals in the decision-making process.
