The community that utilizes biomass energy as an alternative material (briquettes) still manually uses wood or other hard objects as a crushing medium, but produces coarse and non-uniform charcoal granules which have an impact on the quality of the charcoal briquettes produced. The purpose of making this tool is to solve the problems in the briquette making process, by utilizing the rotation of a gasoline engine as a driver, this tool is also equipped with a sieve with the aim of obtaining uniform biomass charcoal results. The results of the study showed that within 55 seconds with a motor rotation of 1,440 Rpm as much as 1 kg of charcoal material can be crushed and get results as much as 0.9 kg of uniform biomass charcoal according to needs.
