This community service (PkM) activity aimed to strengthen the role of alumni of the Aquaculture Study Program, Universitas Bangka Belitung, as strategic partners in the development of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) (Hermetia illucens) maggot cultivation in Sungai Selan Village, Central Bangka Regency. The activity was conducted from July to August 2026 through three stages: pre-implementation, implementation, and evaluation. The PkM methods included a persuasive approach, discussions and brainstorming, comparative studies, infrastructure development, and technical assistance in BSF maggot cultivation. The results demonstrated increased motivation, awareness, and responsibility among the Sheelan Harmoni alumni to develop BSF maggot cultivation as a business. Household and market organic waste that had previously been underutilized began to be used as feed substrates for maggots, thereby creating added value while reducing organic waste. The PkM activity contributed to strengthening the role of alumni as strategic partners and enhancing their skills in BSF maggot cultivation.Top of Form Bottom of Form
