Abstract

This study has three objectives: (1) to know the characteristics of visitors of Tawangmangu Natural Tourism Park, (2) to apply the economic valuation of Tawangmangu Natural Tourism Park by determining the visitor’s willingness to pay, (3) to analyze factors influencing the visitor’s willingness to pay, and factors influencing the visitor’s desirability to revisit the park. The data included the primary data taken by interviewing the visitors from April to June 2009. In order to answer the first objective, an analytical descriptive method was used. The second objective was analyzed by travel cost method. The third objective was analyzed by using double linear regression of the ordinary least squared method and logistic binomial regression analysis. The result suggests (1) the costs of journey significantly influence the amount of the visitors of the park, (2) the total amount of willingness  to pay of the visitors reaches Rp. 287.700.000.000,- in a year. The costs paid by the visitors in a year is Rp. 122.900.000.000,-. Consumer’s surplus of the park in a year is  Rp. 164.800.000.000,-. (3) Factors influencing the visitor’s willingness to pay are their monthly income, education level, and their frequency to do field trip in a year, (4) factors influencing the visitor’s desirability to revisit the park are the visitors anxiety level to the tourism places, the accessibility and the satisfaction level to visit the tourism places.

Abstract

The main objective of developing organic agriculture should not deviate from the principles of organic agriculture which include economics, health and the environment. However, there is often a trade off between the three main objectives. It was found that organic farmers in developed countries prioritize non-economic goals such as health and environmental sustainability. And vice versa with organic farmers in developing countries. However, there are a few organic farmers in developing countries who still survive, coming from indigenous peoples or ethnic groups who are considered backward. This is because there is a warm-glow motif which is interpreted as happiness and pleasure in doing good.

Abstract

Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung merupakan salah satu provinsi penghasil perkebunan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan Badan Pusat Statistik (2021) sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan memberikan kontribusi pada Produk Domestik Bruto (PDRB) di Bangka Belitung sebesar 4,06 persen. Desa Kemuja merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Mendo Barat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan sosialisasi informasi mengenai koagulan Asap cair tersebut kepada petani dan masyarakat Desa Kemuja. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan persiapan program, Memberikan sosialisasi tentang asap cair sebagai koagulan (penggumpal) getah karet yang ramah lingkungan serta memberikan pelatihan penggumpalan getah karet menggunakan asap cair kepada petani karet. Analisis yang dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan adalah Petani karet di Desa Kemuja antusias mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan tentang asap cair sebagai koagulan (penggumpal) getah karet yang ramah lingkungan serta kegiatan pelatihan menggumpalkan getah karet menggunakan asap cair LISA, asap cair Fronthea, dan asap cair Deorub SOP dengan konsentrasi 15%.

Abstract

This study examines consumer perceptions of the qualities considered in purchasing decisions and consumer preferences for purchasing bananas in traditional markets in Pangkalpinang. This research was carried out in a predetermined traditional market in Pangkalpinang City. This study used a survey method as its primary research design. Purposive sampling was used, and the sample size was 100 respondents. The attributes of bananas analyzed were tasted, fruit skin color, fruit size, and number of fruit per comb. The analytical method used is Fishbein Multiattribute analysis and Conjoint analysis. The results showed that consumer attitudes toward the attributes that were most considered in purchasing bananas were attributes of fruit skin color (21.57) which was very positive—taste (16.27), which was a positive value. Fruit size (15, 87) is a positive value, and the number of fruit per comb (6,41) is negative. Consumer preferences in purchasing bananas at the traditional Pangkalpinang City market are bananas with a yellow-green skin color, a sweet banana taste, a length of > 14 cm, and many pieces per comb with> 16 details. The sequence of importance values explains the attributes of bananas that the consumer pays the most attention to when buying bananas: the color of the banana peel, the taste of the banana, the size of the banana, and the number of bananas per comb.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship dapat dijadikan suatu gerakan bersama untuk membangun kemandirian dalam menghasilkan kesejahteraan. Mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari masyarakat akademik dapat menjadi role model sebagai job creator yang diharapkan menginspirasi dan menggerakkan kemandirian masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan motivasi kepada mahasiswa sebagai masyarakat akademik untuk membangun inkubator bisnis lobster air tawar (Cherax sp.). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa Laskar Karapas Biru memiliki komitmen untuk membangun inkubator bisnis lobster air tawar dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan kebermanfaatan dan produktivitas bagi peningkatan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat akademik dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Motivasi warm-glow menjadi kekuatan utama bagi Laskar Karapas Biru untuk membangun unit usahanya. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa potensi dan peluang usaha budidaya lobster air tawar masih terbuka luas untuk dikembangkan oleh masyarakat. inkubator bisnis lobster air tawar yang digagas oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Akuakultur, Universitas Bangka Belitung diharapkan dapat menginspirasi masyarakat untuk berwirausaha lobster air tawar dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang sederhana, efektif, dan efisien.

Abstract

The study’s aims were (1) Calculating the feasibility of hanjeli farming, and (2) Describing the marketing channel for hanjeli farming. This study was conducted from December 2022 to July 2023 in Tanjung Niur Village, Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency. The study was conducted using case study method on sample of 10 hanjeli farmers who selected using saturated sample method. The data used in this study was collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire. These data were analyzed using analysis of income, price breakeven point, production breakeven point, revenue breakeven point, and R/C ratio. The studys’ results were (1) Average R/C ratio of hanjeli farming in Tanjung Niur Village was 5, means every Rp. 1 in production costs incurred will receive revenue of Rp. 5; and, (2) Hanjeli farming in Tanjung Niur Village has one marketing channel, namely zero level marketing channel, where marketing channel shows direct sales from farmers to consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the marketing mix, including product, price, place, and promotion, on consumer satisfaction and loyalty among Minyakita buyers at minimarkets, grocery stores, and traditional markets in Pangkalpinang City. Conducted in July-August 2024, this research utilized a survey method with an accidental sampling technique, collecting data from 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS Version 4.0. Findings indicate that price, place, and promotion directly influence satisfaction significantly, while product does not. Product, place, and promotion have a significant effect on loyalty, while price does not. Indirectly, product and price do not significantly affect loyalty through satisfaction, whereas place and promotion do. Satisfaction has a significant impact on loyalty.
