This study aimed to determine the extent to which adding varying levels of "Bowuli Subur Makmur" (BSM) Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Decomposer to drinking water influenced the mortality rate of starter-phase ducks. The study utilized 60 starter-phase ducks, employing CP 11 feed alongside a basal ration as a substitute feed. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used, comprising four treatments with three replicates each, resulting in 12 experimental units: P0 (100% tap water), P1 (100% tap water + 2 ml BSM Decomposer), P2 (100% tap water + 3 ml BSM Decomposer), and P3 (100% tap water + 4 ml BSM Decomposer). Observations were conducted weekly, focusing on drinking water consumption and mortality. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's post-hoc test. The results indicated that the inclusion of BSM Decomposer in drinking water could reduce the mortality rate to 0%. Regarding drinking water consumption, the highest intake was observed in treatment P3 (187.67), followed by P2 (179.00), P1 (168.33), and the lowest in P0 (156.33). Based on these findings, the optimal treatment was P3 (100% tap water + 4 ml BSM Decomposer). Supplementing drinking water with BSM Decomposer effectively reduced the mortality rate of starter-phase ducks to 0%.
