At the theological and religious level, the value of ta'awun, which means helping each other and working together for the good, is a key principle that supports religious moderation. In line with that, prosocial psychology, which includes actions such as helping, sharing, and working together for the good of others, connects ta'awun values with the actual behavior of students in Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to determine the understanding of taʿâwun values among students, the extent of prosocial behavior (mutual assistance, cooperation, empathy) possessed by students, the understanding of taʿâwun values and prosocial behavior towards the attitude of religious moderation at the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School in Lamongan. The method used is a qualitative method with the researcher as the main instrument in the study. The results show that the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School is an example of an Islamic school that combines taʿâwun psychology and prosocial behavior to foster religious moderation. This study shows that religious moderation in this Islamic boarding school does not just happen; Rather, it is built on psychological principles such as internalized values of ta'awun and concrete prosocial actions. By combining these two elements, religious moderation becomes more than just a slogan—it becomes a way of life for the students, demonstrated through their attitudes, behavior, and daily interactions with others.
