Developing environmental awareness and community skills in rainwater management is crucial for reducing the risk of local flooding and improving environmental quality. A training activity on installing biopore infiltration holes for Women Farmers' Groups (KWT) and Family Welfare Movement (PKK) members in Panggang Hamlet, Kulon Progo, aimed to increase community awareness and skills in managing rainwater and reducing waterlogging. The training involved delivering materials and hands-on practice in constructing biopore holes. The results showed that participants successfully understood and practiced how to independently construct biopore holes. This activity also successfully empowered the community and increased environmental awareness. In conclusion, training on installing biopore infiltration holes can be an effective solution for reducing the risk of local flooding and improving environmental quality. Recommendations for future activities include increasing the availability of tools and materials and increasing community participation in similar activities.
