The brick industry is one of the informal sectors vulnerable to the risk of occupational diseases due to exposure to dust, combustion fumes, and direct contact with soil. Knowledge, attitudes, and compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) play an important role in preventing health complaints among workers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and compliance with the use of PPE and complaints of occupational diseases among brick industry workers in Neuheun Village, Aceh Besar. This study used a quantitative observational analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 65 respondents selected using the total sampling technique and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 52.3% of respondents had good knowledge, 53.8% had poor attitudes, and 66.2% did not comply with PPE use. A total of 55.4% of respondents experienced occupational health complaints. The statistical analysis showed no significant relationship between knowledge and occupational health complaints (p = 0.056), whereas attitude (p = 0.021) and compliance (p < 0.001) were significantly associated with occupational health complaints. It can be concluded that good knowledge needs to be accompanied by positive attitudes and greater compliance with PPE use to support the prevention of occupational health problems.
