This study evaluated the individual and interactive effects of Trichoderma sp. and chicken-manure fertilizer on the growth and yield of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.). A 4 × 4 factorial randomized complete block design with three blocks was used, comprising Trichoderma doses of 0, 2.5, 5.0, and 7.5 g/polybag and chicken-manure doses of 0, 200, 400, and 600 g/polybag. Plant height and leaf number were measured at 7, 14, 21, and 28 days after planting, and fresh weight was measured at 28 days. Trichoderma significantly affected plant height at all observation times and leaf number at 14 and 21 days. Chicken manure and the interaction significantly affected plant height and leaf number across observation times. None of the treatments significantly affected fresh weight. T2 (5 g/polybag) and P2 (400 g/polybag) generally produced the highest vegetative-growth means, whereas T2P2 produced high plant height and the highest leaf number at 28 days. These findings indicate that treatment responses depended on the growth parameter and observation time.
