The rapid progress of information technology drives educational institutions to digitize their services, including library operations. This study focuses on developing a web-based system for borrowing and returning books by applying the CodeIgniter 4 framework. The development process adopts the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the waterfall model, covering requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance stages. Key features include authentication, member administration, book transaction management, fine processing, and reporting. Evaluation through Blackbox testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) confirmed that the system runs properly with a 100% success rate. The proposed system aims to improve efficiency and accuracy in managing library transactions, providing real-time access while remaining user-friendly and responsive.
