This study aims to assess the appreciation of Alor students in Yogyakarta toward the development of ikat fashion models across four levels: liking, enjoying, reacting, and producing. A descriptive quantitative method was employed. The research population consisted of 88 students. Using a proportional random sampling technique, 49 students were selected as respondents. Data were gathered through documentation and a valid, reliable 20-item modified Likert questionnaire. Descriptive data analysis utilized the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. The results revealed that the levels of liking (mean = 15), enjoying (mean = 15), and reacting (mean = 15) fell into the very high category. Meanwhile, the productive level (mean = 13) was categorized as high. Overall, students show very high appreciation toward modern ikat fashion, although deep understanding of customary cultural values and independent creative skills still require continuous enhancement.
