This study aimed to describe students’ perceptions of video media used to teach various sequin techniques in the Clothing Decoration subject at SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed. The population consisted of 103 students, with 56 students selected as the sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire as the main instrument and supporting observations. The questionnaire consisted of 19 items covering three indicators: learning material, media presentation, and media function. Data were analyzed descriptively using frequencies and percentages. The results showed that students’ overall perceptions were in the moderate category, with 36 students (64.3%) classified in this category. For learning material, 35 students (62.5%) were in the moderate category; for media presentation, 36 students (64.3%); and for media function, 32 students (57.1%). The findings indicate that the video media were generally accepted as supporting media for practical learning, particularly in helping students understand the sequence of sequin-making procedures. However, the media still need improvement in content completeness, visual quality, and support for independent learning
