This research is quantitative research with a classroom action research (CAR) approach, with two cycles. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of volleyball underhand passing material through a differentiated learning approach in class X of SMA Negeri 4 Barru. The subjects of this study were 33 students of class X of SMA Negeri 4 Barru who would be given an action in the form of a differentiated learning approach to the learning outcomes of underhand passing in volleyball. This study used a classroom action research method, which consisted of two cycles. Before the action was carried out in cycle I, the researcher gave an initial test to determine the location of difficulties in volleyball underhand passing lessons; then learning was carried out using a differentiated learning approach and ended with the administration of cycle I and cycle II tests with research instruments in the form of observation sheets for volleyball underhand passing learning outcomes using portfolio sheets. After the data was collected and analyzed, the results of the analysis were obtained: (1) from the data from the Cycle I learn test results, 20 people (54.05%) had reached the learning completion level, while 13 people (45.95%) had not reached the learning completion level. The average value of student learning outcomes is 78.1. (2) From the Cycle II learning outcome test, 30 people (90.91%) have achieved the level of learning completion, while 3 people (9.09%) have not achieved the level of learning completion, with an average value of student learning outcomes of 82.76. In this case, there is an increase in the average value of student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, namely an increase in classical completion of 30.31%. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be said that through a differentiated learning approach, it can improve the learning outcomes of underhand passing in volleyball games in Class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Barru.
