The phenomenon of child grooming has undergone a digital transformation through the online gaming ecosystem, creating significant security risks for minors that often escape parental supervision. This study aims to analyze the modus operandi of child grooming on digital gaming platforms and to examine the construction of positive law in Indonesia in response to these threats. The research method employed is normative legal research with a library research approach, reviewing regulations and related scientific literature. The results indicate that predators utilize interactive features such as live chat and gifting systems to build psychological dependence in children through planned manipulation stages. From a juridical perspective, these actions can be prosecuted through the convergence of the Child Protection Act, the ITE Law, and specifically Article 12 of Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes, which broadly recognizes electronic evidence. Law enforcement in these cases still faces major challenges in the form of perpetrator anonymity and low legal digital literacy at the family level. The study concludes that synergy between government regulation, the responsibility of electronic system providers, and the strengthening of family supervision is essential to break the chain of predators in cyberspace.
