This study aims to describe the implementation of the school saving habit program at SDI Harekakae in shaping primary school students' character, as well as identifying challenges and solutions during its execution. The study employed a qualitative descriptive case study approach. Research participants included the principal, classroom teachers, and 15 students actively participating in the saving program. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing (Miles & Huberman). Findings revealed that the saving habit program at SDI Harekakae has been executed systematically through collaboration with Bank NTT under the Student Savings Program (SIMPEL). The habit formation not only enhances financial literacy but also fosters essential personality traits such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, thriftiness, and independence. Key challenges include financial constraints of low-income families and administrative burdens of manual record-keeping. Solutions implemented involve continuous student motivation, strengthening parental engagement, efficient collective ledger management, and official student bank account integration. Thus, school saving habits serve as an effective instrument for character education in elementary schools.
