Administrative services are an important component in supporting the effective implementation of educational activities because teachers, students, and other school stakeholders depend on accurate, timely, and reliable administrative services. The role of administrative staff is therefore not limited to routine administrative activities but also includes data and document management, administrative service delivery, and information and communication management. This study aims to analyze the influence of the role of administrative staff on the quality of administrative services at SMP Negeri 262 Jakarta. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The respondents consisted of 60 teachers and students who had experience receiving administrative services. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression, supported by validity, reliability, normality, and linearity tests. The findings indicate that the role of administrative staff has a positive and significant effect on the quality of administrative services. The regression analysis produced a coefficient of 0.817, indicating that an increase in the role of administrative staff is associated with an increase in administrative service quality. The partial test resulted in a t-value of 9.800, greater than the t-table value of 2.002, with a significance level of 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.623, indicating that 62.3% of the variation in administrative service quality can be explained by the role of administrative staff, while the remaining variation is attributable to other factors outside the research model. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening administrative staff performance and professionalism to improve school administrative services.
