This study aims to map the global research landscape of Artificial Intelligence in Islamic education and systematically analyze its multidimensional impact on student character development and the socio religious learning ecology. The research employed a hybrid methodological approach, combining bibliometric analysis and a Systematic Literature Review. Data collection began by extracting metadata of 680 documents resulting from a search indexed in the Scopus database. Data analysis for this initial stage utilized the Biblioshiny interface within the R Studio software to identify macro research trends and thematic networks. Subsequently, data collection for the systematic review involved filtering the initial dataset using strict protocols, which resulted in 18 selected core articles. These core articles were then analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis. The results reveal that Artificial Intelligence significantly enhances cognitive and psychomotor efficiency but possesses inherent limitations in the affective domain, as it lacks the emotional depth required for moral transmission. Excessive reliance on technology threatens to degrade social capital and academic integrity while shifting the moral authority of teachers. However, with appropriate pedagogical design, Artificial Intelligence can foster critical literacy and substantive religious tolerance. In conclusion, to mitigate socio ecological risks, this study emphasizes the urgency of an ethical governance framework rooted in the objectives of Islamic law and moderation. Implementing a hybrid pedagogy, where technology functions strictly as a technical assistant, reaffirms the irreplaceable central role of human educators in providing spiritual guidance and moral modeling.
