Abstract

Indonesia has a vast land area with different landforms. The tropical climate and relatively diverse rock topography make Indonesia a country prone to natural disasters. The TNI's efforts to maintain national defense are through military operations. With terrain conditions such as rivers that cannot be passed by vehicles, deep ditches, roads damaged by natural disasters and bridges that are not strong enough to be passed by combat vehicles, this becomes an obstacle for TNI troops in carrying out mobility. Strategic support is needed to assist in the success of military operations. PT PINDAD (Army Industry) as an industry engaged in the defense sector has an important role to support this. Thus, the formulation of the problem that arises in this design is how to apply the sliding bridge mechanism to the Anoa tank. This study aims to design an Anoa armored combat vehicle with a launch bridge concept, apply a sliding mechanism to the Anoa armored vehicle and design an Anoa armored combat vehicle with launch bridge specifications to assist military operations. This design is carried out using an engineering design approach and a quality function deployment method to determine design attributes and user needs. The design begins with data collection and then analyzed. The next process is to find the voice of the customer to the target value and build a house of quality. After the house of quality is built, the results show that the sliding bridge mechanism gets the highest score. The mechanism used in the design of the Anoa armored vehicle is the sliding bridge mechanism. The application of the sliding bridge is based on considerations of technical requirements, security is one of the most important aspects in this design.
