<![CDATA[Introduction: Rapid physical, psychological, and social development makes adolescents vulnerable to Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA). Families play a central role in providing support, supervision, and education as part of OCSEA prevention efforts. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the family role and OCSEA prevention behavior among adolescents at SMAN 2 Jember. Methods: This study employed a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The respondents consisted of 219 adolescents in grades X and XI at SMAN 2 Jember, aged 15–17 years. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires regarding family roles and OCSEA prevention behavior. Results: The majority of respondents demonstrated family roles and OCSEA prevention behaviors in the "fair" to "good" categories. A significant relationship was found between the family role and OCSEA prevention behavior (p < 0.05). Discussion: Family involvement in supervision, communication, and digital safety education contributes to adolescent readiness in facing OCSEA risks. Family-based interventions can serve as an effective prevention strategy for shaping adaptive adolescent behavior in the digital era.]]>
