The first 1,000 days of a child's life from the first day of pregnancy until the child is two years old, and have the potential to determine a child's future. One effort to improve the nutritional status of children in early life is to initiate early breastfeeding, exclusively breastfeeding babies. Some babies still do not receive exclusive breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is the process of transferring breast milk directly from the mother's breast to her baby. Integrated health service posts (Posyandu) are beneficial for both pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Pregnant women can check in and ask staff about childbirth and breastfeeding. Meanwhile, breastfeeding mothers can ask questions about breastfeeding, proper breastfeeding techniques to prevent nipple injury, and receive vitamin A and calcium supplements, which are essential during breastfeeding. One effort to improve knowledge and skills is by providing education on proper breastfeeding techniques. The results of this activity have shown an increase in knowledge about proper breastfeeding techniques.
