Nutritional status significantly influences breast milk production, as it depends on the amount of fat reserves in the body. Mothers with poor nutritional status tend to have fewer fat reserves than mothers with ideal body weight/normal nutritional status. Food intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding significantly influences the nutritional status of pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. One food source that can stimulate breast milk production as an alternative food for breastfeeding mothers is the use of moringa plants. This study aims to determine the effect of boiled moringa leaves on breast milk production. Breast milk production was measured based on breast milk volume over 24 hours using an observation sheet by pumping. The research method used was quantitative, with a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest approach. A population of 338 people was taken as a sample of 30 people, the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the Paired Samples Test analysis found a significant difference with p less than 0.05. Breast milk production increased from an average of 72.33 cc to 375.67 cc after the intervention. The study concluded that there was a significant change in breast milk volume after regularly consuming boiled moringa leaves for seven days. This increased milk production and the baby's needs were met.
