<![CDATA[Children grow and develop according to systematic and gradual developmental stages. Attention given on child's growth and development is an essential part of parenting, both mothers and fathers. Common problems encountered in a child's growth and development include short stature/stunting, malnutrition, speech and language disorders, and the child's inability to adapt. In this process, parents play a crucial role as primary observers. However, perceptions are influenced by several factors in parenting, such as educational background, knowledge, and most importantly, culture. This study aims to determine the relationship between early detection of child growth and development and parental perceptions. The research method is quantitative and cross-sectional. The population (the number of parents of toddlers recorded in the source community health center) was 886. A sample of 60 respondents was obtained (30 respondents were fathers and 30 respondents were mothers) using a purposive sampling technique.. The chi-square test analysis yielded a p-value=0,000.. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between early detection of toddler growth and development and parental perceptions.]]>
