Banten Sukses Mandiri is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of light steel, using coils as its primary raw material. Demand for channel steel has led to an imbalance in raw material inventory. To address this issue, raw material (coil) requirements were planned using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method to identify the most efficient lot sizing technique. The analysis included the Moving Average (MA) and Exponential Smoothing (ES) forecasting techniques, as well as the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method, with a comparison of lot sizing techniques: Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Period Order Quantity (POQ). The results of the study indicate that the Moving Average forecasting method (N=6) is the best approach, with a MAPE accuracy value of 0.48%. Based on MRP calculations, the total net requirement for coil raw materials was determined to be 309,151 kg. The results indicate that the Period Order Quantity (POQ) technique is the most efficient, as it yields the lowest total inventory cost of Rp. 5,002,406,962 with an ordering frequency of 5 times.
