This study analyzed the learning needs of fourth-semester students in the English Education Study Program regarding the development of a listening e-module integrating Islamic values within the context of higher education EFL. The study employed a descriptive quantitative design based on Hutchinson and Waters’ (1987) needs analysis framework, comprising necessities, lacks, and wants. A total of 46 students participated as respondents. Data were collected through a 16-item questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively, while interview data were used to strengthen the findings. The results showed that students needed academic listening skills, including understanding lectures, seminars, and discussions, identifying main ideas, and evaluating information (necessities) (M = 3.58). Students experienced difficulties in understanding complex academic texts, limited vocabulary, and analyzing listening content (lacks) (M = 3.44). Furthermore, students expected interactive ICT-based materials integrating Islamic values, such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy (wants) (M = 3.78). These findings provide a foundation for developing a technology-based Listening e-module to support Listening for Academic Purposes in Islamic higher education
