This community service activity aimed to assist retail Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tajem, Yogyakarta, namely Toko Surya Cosmetic and Toko Kelontong Ahmad, in implementing the Olsera Point of Sale (POS) application and proper inventory valuation methods. Prior to the intervention, both business units managed transactions and stock manually, which frequently led to recording discrepancies, inefficient stock management, and limited access to real-time business data. The activity employed a participatory assistance method, encompassing initial observation, needs analysis, application installation and configuration, direct operator training, and evaluation of implementation results. The training included practical guidance on transaction recording, inventory management, sales reporting features, and the application of inventory valuation methods, specifically the First In First Out (FIFO) and Weighted Average Cost methods. Following the assistance, both businesses demonstrated measurable improvements in operational efficiency, characterized by accelerated transaction processing time, more accurate stock recording, and enhanced owners' capability to generate and analyze business performance reports. This study confirms that digital technology adoption through POS applications constitutes a strategic and practical solution to overcome the classical operational limitations faced by retail MSMEs in Indonesia.
