Semi-Real-Time Sentiment Analysis of Jember Mini Zoo Visitor Review with VADER

This study aims to analyze visitor sentiment toward Jember Mini Zoo based on Google Maps reviews in a semi real-time manner using the Valence Aware Dictionary and Sentiment Reasoner (VADER) algorithm. This approach helps managers understand visitor perceptions and improve service uality. The method includes review data retrieval, data cleaning, text translation, tokenization, and sentiment clasification using VADER. Accuracy values are obtained by comparing VADER sentiment labels with review rating based label. The result show that most reviews express positive sentiment, and the semi real-time approach effectively captures perception tren more responsively. Thus, the model contributes to data drivem evaluation system for tourism destinations.
