Abstract

Disability is a physical or mental condition that limits a person's ability to fully participate in daily activities. Disabilities can occur to anyone and may be temporary or permanent. Examples of physical disabilities include vision loss, deafness, or mobility limitations, while examples of mental disabilities include autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, or depression. People with disabilities often require environmental adjustments and community support to participate fully in daily life. This study focuses on individuals with leg disabilities, and one of the tools used by those with such disabilities is the wheelchair. There have been numerous studies on wheelchairs for individuals with leg impairments. In this research, the wheelchair is controlled using voice commands, which include forward, backward, left, right, and stop commands. To implement the wheelchair control, an Arduino Uno is used to process voice commands from the user, which are converted into text on an Android device. The text is then sent via Bluetooth and received by the Arduino Uno through serial communication. The control from Android to Arduino Uno is conducted in real-time, allowing the wheelchair to move according to the commands given. The result of this research shows that wheelchair control using voice commands was 100% successful

Abstract

Image processing is an important field in object detection and calculation, especially in the field of computer vision. A problem that often arises in automatic coin counting is the inability of machines to accurately recognize and calculate coins quickly when there are variations in conditions, such as differences in size, color, lighting, and orientation of coins in the imagery. This research develops OpenCV and Python-based methods to detect and calculate the number of coins in the image. The stages of this method include pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and object detection. Pre-processing improves image quality and reduces noise, while segmentation separates coin objects from the background. The extraction feature identifies the characteristics of the coin such as edges and colors, aiding in the object detection process. This method was tested on a dataset of coin images with various variations in size, exposure, and orientation, and the results showed an average accuracy rate of 98.08%. This research contributes to the development of automated systems for object counting in various contexts and can be the basis for further research in the field of image processing and computer vision

Abstract

The Waterfall model remains a widely used software development methodology, offering a structured, phase-driven approach to system development. This study applies the Waterfall model in developing a web-based e-commerce system for small businesses, aiming to improve business operations, usability, and system efficiency. The system was implemented for Anisha Klapertart and Cake to address manual sales and inventory management inefficiencies. Black Box Testing confirmed 100% functionality across core modules, including authentication, product management, and order processing. Usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 30 respondents resulted in a score of 70.16, categorizing the system as "Good" and "Acceptable". Despite its benefits, challenges include limited adaptability to requirement changes and scalability concerns. Future enhancements will focus on integrating a payment gateway, improving security, and adding customer loyalty programs. These findings demonstrate the practicality of the Waterfall model in structured e-commerce development, offering valuable insights for small businesses transitioning to digital platforms.

Abstract

Installation of Closed Circuit Television(CCTV) aims to monitor the conditions and situations of certain places as a step to prevent unwanted things. Conventional CCTV requires continuous monitoring and can not send user notifications in case of movement. In quiet areas, CCTV still records the same image for a very long time, making it ineffective, thus consuming storage space. In this study, the CCTV surveillance system uses motion detection sensors and will update the status of the Firebase database so that the Android application can display notifications. The movement that occurs will be detected by the PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor then will send a command to the Raspberry Pi to capture image and also send the sensor status on the firebase. Changes in sensor status will be listened to by the android application and if the sensor status changes android will notify the user that motion has just been detected. The test results show that the surveillance system can run well. The percentage of incoming notifications is compared with the detected motion with 80% results, the detection range is between 40-140 degrees, the detected motion delay is 2,055 seconds, the notification delay that goes to the user is 1.101 seconds

Abstract

Stock price crash risk is an important phenomenon in the capital market that can cause significant losses for investors. Good corporate governance and research & development costs are predicted to have an effect on stock price crash risk, but the mediating role of financial accounting information systems in this relationship has not been widely studied. This study aims to analyze the effect of good corporate governance and research & development costs on stock price crash risk with financial accounting information systems as mediating variables. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 120 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2024. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 23 with multiple regression analysis techniques and the Sobel test to test the mediation effect. The results showed that good corporate governance had a significant negative effect on stock price crash risk (β = -0.324, p <0.05), research & development costs had a significant negative effect on stock price crash risk (β = -0.287, p <0.05), and financial accounting information systems partially mediated the relationship between the two independent variables on stock price crash risk. Implementation of good corporate governance and investment in research & development can reduce the risk of stock price crashes, with financial accounting information systems acting as a mediator in this relationship.

Abstract

The Family Planning (FP) program requires a data-driven approach to enhance service effectiveness. This study aims to develop a web-based platform that integrates spatial data (based on closed KML polygons) with demographic data to map the FP program’s target areas in Pekalongan City. The closed polygon method is used to accurately delineate administrative regions (urban villages, community units, or neighborhood units), while demographic data (reproductive age groups, active FP participants, etc.) are dynamically displayed in an interactive interface. The platform is built using Leaflet.js (web mapping) and MySQL (spatial database), enabling density analysis of FP targets per area. Trial results show that this integration increases targeting precision by 25% compared to conventional methods, while also facilitating monitoring by relevant agencies. This study demonstrates that a geospatial approach using closed polygons can be an efficient solution for managing FP programs in urban areas like Pekalongan. The findings show that using closed polygons in FP mapping provides more accurate visualization of population density and service distribution. With the web-based platform, accessibility and monitoring of FP programs can be improved, enabling more effective data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

This study describes the development and implementation of a web-based online borrowing and booking system for inventory items in the Dusun Ngawen community, Muntilan, Magelang. The system was designed using an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) approach to ensure a modular, flexible, and efficient structure for future scalability. The research began with user requirement analysis involving residents and inventory managers, followed by OOP-based architectural design, code implementation using encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism principles, and functionality testing before online deployment. The resulting system enables residents to view available inventory, submit borrowing requests, and track borrowing status in real-time through a responsive web interface. The system also features an admin dashboard with integrated data management for user registration, item availability, and borrowing transactions. Results show that the system effectively overcomes communication barriers in traditional inventory borrowing processes, ensures transparency of item availability, and streamlines monitoring and confirmation processes. This innovation not only improves service efficiency within the RT environment but also provides a reference framework for similar community-based system developments. However, optimal utilization requires socialization and training for residents and managers. Overall, the implementation demonstrates that web-based technology with OOP design can significantly advance inventory management practices in local residential communities

Abstract

Imbalanced data is a common challenge in sentiment analysis, as it can cause the classification model to be biased towards the majority class and ignore important information from the minority class. This study aims to evaluate the effect of resampling methods, namely Random Under Sampling (RUS), and Random Over Sampling (ROS), on the performance of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm in handling imbalanced sentiment data. Data were collected from social media X (Twitter) with the topic of naturalization of soccer players in Indonesia. The research process includes preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, and model testing using K-Fold Cross Validation with K = 2, 5, and 10. Evaluation was carried out based on the F1-score matrix, recall, precision, and accuracy. The results show that the ROS method provides the best performance, especially at K = 10 with an F1-score value of 0.80, recall 0.78, precision 0.84, and accuracy 0.85. and RUS shows a lower performance improvement. These results show that selecting an appropriate resampling method can improve the performance of the classification model when faced with imbalanced data.
