This study discusses the design and implementation of a web-based Knowledge Management System (KMS) customized for technicians and network operations workers at SMK XYZ Palembang. The system tackles difficulties linked to fragmented technical knowledge, delayed problem resolution, and limited access to institutional expertise by offering a consolidated, searchable archive of articles, and troubleshooting instructions. Core features include a responsive site with usage data, a discussion forum for asynchronous peer support, and a Knowledge Expert page where employees, administrators, and subject-matter experts submit and curate material. Development followed a disciplined requirements-analysis and UML-based modeling methodology, stressing usability, role-based access, and content control. Preliminary user feedback indicates that the KMS enhances information accessibility, eliminates duplicate questions, and develops a community of practice among technical professionals. The findings are consistent with prior research suggesting that well-designed KMS deployments improve cooperation, operational efficiency, and knowledge retention in vocational and higher-education settings. Future work will combine AI-powered search, mobile optimization, and advanced analytics to maintain engagement and continually improve content quality.
