This study aims to examine the effect of job crafting on job satisfaction, with work engagement as a mediating variable among employees of PT ABC in Sidoarjo. This research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 65 employees using a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with WarpPLS 7.0 software. The results indicate that job crafting, work engagement, and job satisfaction are at good to high levels descriptively. The measurement model meets the criteria for convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability, with Composite Reliability values above 0.70 and satisfactory AVE values. Hypothesis testing reveals that job crafting has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and work engagement. Furthermore, work engagement significantly influences job satisfaction. Mediation analysis shows that work engagement partially mediates the relationship between job crafting and job satisfaction. These findings suggest that proactive employee behavior in modifying and shaping their work not only directly enhances job satisfaction but also indirectly increases it through stronger work engagement. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to promote job crafting practices and strengthen employee engagement to improve job satisfaction and achieve sustainable organizational performance
