This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Cambridge Online Dictionary in improving students’ pronunciation, focusing on vowel and consonant sounds. The study used a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach, involving 17 tenth-grade students of X DKV class at SMKN 3 Pinrang, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test using oral reading tasks. The pre-test results showed a mean score of 44.06, with most students in the “Poor” category. After four treatment sessions using the Cambridge Online Dictionary, the post-test mean increased to 82.47, with 70% of students in the “Very Good” category. The t-test result (t-count = 13.095 > t-table = 2.120; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05) indicated a significant improvement. The findings confirm that the Cambridge Online Dictionary is effective in enhancing students’ pronunciation skills and can be a valuable tool in digital-based English learning. Its interactive features, such as audio pronunciations and phonetic transcriptions, facilitate a more engaging and personalized learning experience, ultimately improving students' overall language proficiency.
