Abstract

The Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Community Service Program (KKN) Group 51 in Bokor Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, aimed to support the digitization of geographic information and village assets through the implementation of a Geographic Information System (GIS). Identified issues included difficulties faced by residents in locating the homes of village officials and public facilities, as well as the reliance on manual coding for village website management. The implementation methodology encompassed observation, coordination with village officials, surveys and data collection, digital mapping, website development, and periodic monitoring and evaluation. The project resulted in the creation of a digital map and an information website for Bokor Village, featuring details on the locations of village officials and public facilities, as well as the village's potential. The use of GIS facilitated residents' access to geographic information and enabled village officials to manage information more effectively and in an integrated, easily updatable manner. This initiative demonstrates that GIS-based digitization can support improved information access, effective data management, and the sustainable development of village information systems.
