This study aims to analyze the meaning of religious moderation in Bandar Baru Village, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra in the postmodern era and the process of constructing social reality based on Peter L. Berger's theory. The study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and a constructivist paradigm. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and SaldaƱa model through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results show that religious moderation is interpreted through tolerance, respect for religious freedom, acceptance of diversity, communication, and social cooperation. The process of constructing social reality occurs through externalization, objectivation, and internalization. Religious diversity becomes a social reality through community interaction and is then understood as part of shared life. However, the tendency to be less tolerant towards certain groups indicates that the meaning of religious moderation is not completely uniform and is still being constructed through community social experiences.
