Anemia during pregnancy remains a major public health problem that can negatively affect both maternal and fetal health. Preventive behavior plays an essential role in reducing the risk of pregnancy-related complications; however, it is influenced by multiple interconnected factors. This study aimed to identify and analyze the factors affecting anemia prevention behavior among pregnant women using a literature review approach. A total of ten national and international articles indexed in SINTA 1–5 and Scopus Q1–Q4 published between 2022 and 2026 were reviewed. The findings revealed that anemia prevention behavior is influenced by knowledge, family support, social support, the role of health workers, access to information, health promotion, motivation, self-efficacy, adherence to iron supplementation, and maternal characteristics. Family support and the role of health workers were identified as the most influential factors in improving adherence to anemia prevention behaviors. Therefore, comprehensive collaboration among pregnant women, families, health professionals, and policymakers is necessary to strengthen anemia prevention programs during pregnancy.
