Falls are a common complication among stroke patients—stemming from motor, balance, and cognitive impairments as well as care-related factors, including nursing negligence—which can worsen patient conditions and increase the burden of care. Objective: This study aimed to analyze publication trends regarding falls in stroke patients associated with nursing negligence using a bibliometric analysis. Methods: A bibliometric approach was applied to Scopus-indexed articles published between 2019 and 2025. Searches utilized the keywords “stroke,” “cerebrovascular infarction,” “negligence,” “error,” and “fall,” yielding 1,469 articles that were analyzed using VOSviewer. Results: The number of publications showed fluctuating growth, peaking in 2024 (244 articles). The United States was the leading country in terms of publications (475 articles), while Gait & Posture was the most productive publication source (53 articles). Harvard Medical School was the most prolific affiliated institution (38 articles), and the field of Medicine dominated the subject areas (1,349 articles). Keyword visualization revealed research connections across clinical, demographic, rehabilitation, and patient safety aspects. Conclusion: Research on falls in stroke patients continues to evolve in a multidisciplinary manner, reflecting global attention toward patient safety and fall prevention.
