Although tolerance among religious communities has been extensively studied, research specifically addressing tolerance practices as part of community development in Kampung Moderasi Beragama remains limited. This study aimed to describe tolerance practices among religious communities and their role in supporting community development in Kampung Moderasi Beragama in Tanjungkarang Village, Jati Subdistrict, Kudus Regency. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews and field observations. The findings showed that tolerance practices were realized in three areas: the sociocultural sphere, physical infrastructure, and nationhood. In the sociocultural sphere, members of different religious communities collaborated through activities at flood response posts and the formation of a joint choir comprising mosque and church youth. In the area of physical infrastructure, the community established Kelompok Pengelola Sarana Penyediaan Air Minum dan Sanitasi (KPSPAM) to help meet clean water needs. In the area of nationhood, the community built Balai Kebangsaan as a venue for meetings and joint activities. These findings indicate that tolerance is expressed through respect for differences as well as tangible cooperation in meeting community needs and developing community life. This study provides an account of the role of tolerance as a foundation for interreligious collaboration in community development. The practical implication is the importance of strengthening interfaith cooperation through social activities, infrastructure provision, and activities centered on nationhood to support community harmony and unity.
