<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of applying goat manure and banana peel liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) on the growth and production of basil (Ocimum basilicum) and to evaluate the interaction between these two treatments. Basil is an important horticultural commodity whose demand continues to rise due to high culinary consumption and the need for essential oil production. However, productivity at the farmer level is often suboptimal due to limited knowledge. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve practices regarding basil cultivation through the use of environmentally friendly organic materials. This study was conducted using a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors, namely goat manure and banana peel LOF. The dosages for goat manure were: K0 (Control/No treatment), K1 (100 g/polybag), K2 (200 g/polybag), and K3 (300 g/polybag). Meanwhile, the dosages for banana peel LOF included: P0 (Control/No treatment), P1 (15 ml/liter of water), P2 (30 ml/liter of water), and P3 (45 ml/liter of water). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of branches, root length (cm), fresh weight per sample (g), total fresh weight (g), and plant survival rate percentage. The best combination dosage was found at K2 (200 g/polybag) for goat manure and P3 (45 ml/L of water/plot) for banana peel LOF.]]>
