The utilization of agricultural waste as organic fertilizer is a sustainable solution to overcome the decline in soil fertility due to chemical use. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of pineapple peel Local Microorganisms (MOL) and chicken manure on the growth and propagation of lemon basil (Ocimum basilicum). Pineapple peel MOL serves as a liquid organic fertilizer containing beneficial microbes, such as decomposer bacteria and fungi, to enhance soil fertility. The research utilized a two-factor Factorial Randomized Block Design, consisting of chicken manure dosages (0g, 100g, 200g, and 300g per polybag) and pineapple peel MOL concentrations (0ml, 15ml, 30ml, and 45ml per liter of water per plot). The observed parameters included plant height, number of branches, root length, shoot fresh weight per sample, total shoot fresh weight, and survival rate..The conclusions of the study indicate that the application of chicken manure at a dosage of 300 g/polybag A3 yields the best results across all growth parameters. Meanwhile, a pineapple peel MOL concentration of 45 ml/L of water/plot N3 is the most effective dosage for increasing plant height, number of branches, and fresh weight. Furthermore, the survival rate of the lemon basil cuttings in this study reached 81.77%.
