Basil (Ocimum basilicum.) is an aromatic plant that has many health benefits and is often used in cooking. This activity was carried out at the Experimental Garden of Panca Budi Development University in Dusun 3, Sampe Cita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, at an altitude of ± 500 meters above sea level. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of several planting media and lamtoro leaf POC on the propagation of basil plants. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK), 2 factors studied, namely topsoi planting media, cocopeat, empty oil palm bunches (TKKS) and burnt husks (T) and liquid organic fertilizer of lamtoro leaves (P) which were each repeated 3 times. Factor I is the type of planting media (T) which consists of 4 types of planting media, namely: T0 = topsoil, T1 = topsoil + cocopeat 1: 1, T2 = topsoil + EFB 1: 1, T3 = topsoil + burnt rice husk 1: 1. Factor II is the provision of lamtoro leaf POC (P) which consists of 4 levels of provision, namely: P0 = 0 ml / l water / plot, P1 = 500 ml / l water / plot, P2 = 1000 ml / l water / plot and P3 = 1500 ml / l water / plot. The results of the study with the provision of planting media of topsoil, cocopeat, empty palm fruit bunches (EFB), rice husk, burnt. lamtoro leaf POC is able to influence shoot height, number of leaves, live presentation, root length, wet weight, age of shoot emergence
