The purpose of this study is to identify forms of social pathology represented in films and analyse their meaning in the social and psychological context of the characters. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The research data consists of excerpts from scenes and dialogues containing deviant speech and actions, with a primary focus on the characters in the film Gundala. The analysis process was carried out briefly in three stages, namely identifying relevant scenes, grouping the data according to Kartono's social pathology categories, and then interpreting their meaning within the social and psychological framework of the characters. The results show that the film Gundala displays various forms of social pathology such as deviation and differentiation, sociopathy, corruption, criminality, and mental disorders that are relevant to the reality of Indonesian society. Psycho-sociological literary analysis confirms that the representation of deviant behaviour not only serves as the backdrop for the story, but also as a social critique of the nation's problems. Thus, the film Gundala not only serves as a medium of entertainment, but also as a means of moral reflection that raises awareness about the impact of social pathology on social life.
