Problems with the effectiveness of the distribution of zakat funds often cause aid not to reach people in need, so that the main goal of zakat in reducing poverty is not achieved optimally. This research evaluates the effectiveness of zakat distribution, especially the Uninhabitable House (RTLH) renovation program at BAZNAS Serang City. Qualitative research takes the form of focused interviews with an empirical approach. The research results show that (1) the RTLH program was well received by the community, despite digital and budget challenges. (2) Home appraisals are based on the mustahik's size, materials, and financial condition, with many homes requiring urgent repairs. (3) This program is quite optimal, but needs improvements in the transparency of financial reports, beneficiary data, as well as social and economic support.
