Kitchen waste, especially organic waste, can pollute the environment if disposed of carelessly. In fact, this waste can be processed into organic fertilizer that benefits plants. This study aims to examine the utilization of kitchen waste into compost from the perspective of the Qur'an. The methods used are observation and outreach. The outreach activities aim to educate the community on how to make compost from kitchen waste, while also explaining Qur’anic verses related to preserving nature, avoiding damage, and not being wasteful. Meanwhile, observations were conducted to directly see the practice of waste processing in the community. The results show that processing kitchen waste into fertilizer helps reduce waste volume, improves soil quality, and raises environmental awareness in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an. This activity also teaches the wise use of resources for the sustainability of the Earth.
