This study aims to explore the concept of ethnomathematics in local culinary culture of South Sumatra, particularly tempoyak, and to present the findings through an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted digital poster. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through an online questionnaire and interviews. The questionnaire was administered to 18 respondents to determine their use of social media and their knowledge of the culture and local culinary traditions of South Sumatra. An interview was conducted with Mrs. Sariyani, a tempoyak maker in Lubuklinggau Barat I, to obtain information regarding the ingredients, measurements, preparation process, and fermentation. The results showed that 88.9% of respondents were familiar with tempoyak, but 38.9% were not yet aware of its ingredients and preparation stages. Meanwhile, 88.9% expressed interest in information presented through a digital poster. The interview results indicated a measurement of 1 kg of durian and 2 tablespoons of salt, demonstrating the concept of ratio 1,000 : 36 = 250 : 9.
