This study aims to describe the impact of implementing the Kabupaten Layak Anak (KLA) policy on efforts to protect children in Aceh Barat Regency from various threats of violence. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Kabupaten Layak Anak (KLA) policy has been highly significant in protecting children from various threats of violence. The presence of the Office for Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning (DP3AKB) in Aceh Barat Regency has greatly facilitated the handling and assistance of cases of violence against children. However, the impact of the implementation of the Kabupaten Layak Anak (KLA) policy on child protection in Aceh Barat Regency remains suboptimal. This is due to the frequent occurrence of violence against children, insufficient socialization of the Kabupaten Layak Anak (KLA) policy in Aceh Barat, limited human resources, inadequate child-friendly school/pesantren and health facilities, the lack of child-friendly information platforms, and the limited availability of child-friendly public spaces.
